Location. The LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort overlooks Naples, Fla.'s Platinum Coast, and is located five miles from downtown Naples. Hotel Features. Crystal chandeliers, canary yellow walls and deep green tropical plants greet guests as they enter the marble-floored lobby. The eclectic Baleen, an all-day dining area, serves seafood on a terrace or in a mirrored banquette. The Baleen Bar serves cocktails, and the Tiki Hut is the hotel's thatched-roof poolside grill. Social functions and meetings are accommodated by 11,000 square feet of facilities, including the Bayview terrace and the Vanderbilt ballroom. Business amenities include high-speed Internet access and a staffed business center. The pool complex features cascading freeform pools, a tropical terrace, tiled spa tub, teak garden and covered cabanas.
